About the Role
Stylist Level 1 Beauty Advisors are under the direct supervision of store management.
This position is for upcoming stylists wanting to grow and develop their clientele base, learn new technical skills, and gain more product knowledge while working both the retail area of the store and in the Salon. Time will be split weekly, where there is an opportunity to offer services in the salon and gain more technical experience as well as
work in the retail area of the store to gain more product knowledge and attract clients to their chair. The individual is responsible for providing an excellent experience for Salon Brands customers by determining and/or finding the products that best meet their
individual needs, as well as promoting and offering salon services. Position is split
hours between the retail floor and the salon, with an average of 15 hours per week as a Beauty Advisor and 17 hours in the Salon providing services.
Requirements
Licensed Cosmetologist High school diploma preferred 1 year relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant
work experience
1 year retail experience preferred
Demonstrates a passion for guest service and a competency for selling product and growing clientele base
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Retail Bonus eligible when retail is sold after completing a salon service

We are a locally owned beauty boutique and salon with 7 locations across the Midwest. We are open to the public and offer a wide selection of professional hair and beauty products as well as full service salons.
